My humans have been eating lots of local vegetables and fruits lately. And just the other day, they took me to a place called Country Farms to buy more because they said summer is almost over. Not sure what that means, but if it involves a family trip out then I'm all for it!
I made some new friends at Country Farms! I met a pair of doggies (have you seen the
big doggies my sister saw the other day?) and had a very long chat with them. They were so friendly because they saw me from a far and immediately asked me to go over and have a quick chat. To be honest I couldn't quite understand everything they said. For instance, I don't know the difference between "oink oink" and "oink oink oink". However, according to my new friends, playing in mud is a good way to cool down! Maybe I'll try that one day.
I am always happy to help out Diana whenever she needs it so I was given the responsibility of looking after the shopping cart while she walked around the narrow aisles of fruits. I was being a very good guard dog, I didn't let any of the items in the cart run away!
When I wasn't busy looking after the shopping cart, I was checking out the odd looking produce that were stacked in boxes. I was quite fascinated by this plump looking veggie called a squash. Diana says that there are many different types of squash and lots of ways to make delicious things with it. But from what I could smell, it doesn't have a yummy scent like garlic.
